Michael Patterson was born into a family of painters in Hudson, New York, and now lives in Connecticut. A graduate of SUNY Purchase, he has been painting for over 35 years, with extensive travel for inspiration. Michael is drawn visually to rainy city streets, sun on sparkling water, faces, hands, clouds, skies, and people playing music or at the beach. Michael is also a sculptor in stone and clay. His work is found in over 500 private and corporate collections in the United States and Europe.
