Max Blagg, English-born, has lived in New York City since 1971. A poet, writer, performer, and mixed-media artist, Max has appeared at numerous venues in New York City and other locations, including the Kitchen, Guggenheim Museum, Parrish Museum, and the National Arts Club. Through Shallow Books, founded in 2010, Max’s writing is presented in books, booklets, and ephemera, and now stencilled onto vintage typewriter lids that can be displayed. Photographic reproductions of the original stencilled lids, on canvas on wood frame, are also available. His limited-edition artworks are exhibited widely and are included in many private art collections
