Kiersten Heitmann creates contemporary works that are a fusion of vintage silks, satins and free flow stitchwork to create pieces from the past. Kiersten grew up in a family that loved to sew, and she too loves to knit, sew, make clothes and do needlepoint and quilting. Taking this a step further, Kiersten began to experiment combining traditional quilting techniques with luxurious silks and satins to create contemporary art. Kiersten is returning to the Gracie Square Art Show
