David Sieczkiewicz is a professional photographer known as "Skavich,” a nickname given to him in his younger years. Born and currently residing part time in Rhode Island, the majority of his wave imagery is captured there. He notes, “Being raised along the coastal woodland shores of the Ocean State developed my appreciation for the feelings that the visual experiences of the natural environment evoked. My fondness for  the visual experiences provided by nature, the ocean and waves gave me the inspiration to pick up a camera and begin my creative journey.
