Over the past twenty years, he has showcased his sculpture and clay drawings at top-tier juried fine art festivals and craft shows. David's work blends Baroque movement, abstract expressionist gesture, and Asian decorative spirit, infused with his own whimsical style. His figurative sculptures and clay drawings are characterized by serene and playful gestures, capturing ordinary moments with extraordinary depth. Each piece is meticulously crafted, modeled in clay, and cast in acrylic or plaster, with colors applied using iron oxides and pigments.​
