Frey was born into an artistic family in Maine and has been a professional artist since 2003, specializing in drawing to convey movement, depth, and perspective. His representational work combines real-world structures with abstract color, using bold lines and layered materials like antique book pages and stencils. Influenced by ancient cave art, old master drawings, and architectural sketches, he blends drawing and painting to create dynamic, expressive pieces. He currently works from his studio in Virginia.
