Painter Annie Gudis explores the relationship between earth and sky in her work, including over beaches, barns, bridges, and skyscrapers. She loves layering oil paint on canvas, which she compares to “squeezing jewels from tubes creating a fantasy.” Now concentrating on cloudscapes, Annie previously expressed her creativity during a 20-year career as a ballet dancer and as a baker and pastry maker, and, with a partner, designed and built costumes for Team USA Ice Dancers.
